Hard work is the most necessary element contributing to our success. Without working hard, achievement is out of the question. However, some people still in the awareness that success also depends on luck. I’d say the exact opposite, luck has nothing to do with this.

People cannot reach their achievements but for hard work. Should they make a great effort, success will chase them. People undoubtedly need to suffer from a process of practice and promotion. To come over all those difficulties, persistence and patience as well as hard-working are highly required. For instance, many uppermost scientists such as Thomas Edison did have to unstoppedly do thousands of experiments. And there is no doubt that he was successful. Therefore, isn’t it clear that we can only achieve success due to hard work?

Furthermore, I strongly believe that to keep relying on luck will not work. It can’t be denied that luck can bring us oppotinities, but not all the time. It is completely foolish if we just sit and wait for it instead of starting learning and getting progress. Luck only gives us a chance. However, the most important thing is that we need to have a appropriate combination between your attempt and the opportunity you luckily attain. Such as, you have a lot of opportunities to get promotion in your job, nevertheless you are not well-qualified enough. As a result, it’s is impossible to be successful without trying and practicing.

As a summary, there are many reasons why luck has no relevance to our success, moreover, real success can only be achieved by hard work.
