Nowadays, the internet has become an integral part of our modern life due to its multi-purpose conveniences. From my outlook, I firmly agree with this statement. This essay will provide some justification for this issue with pertinent illustrations.

First of all, the internet has facilitated interaction between people notwithstanding geographical distance. Stated differently, not only the social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter but also email applications have given us opportunities to send messages, keep in touch and communicate with individuals around the world. Consequently, the internet has superseded the primitive forms of communication include writing letters or horse-drawn transportation by the high-tech ones.

In addition, thanks to the internet, we are supplied with numerous means of distractions. If you get access to the internet, you are capable of selecting from a wide variety of state-of-the-art online games as well as up-to-date films which are available on websites and smartphones. As can be observed, amusement on the internet has turned out to be the international pastime, especially with adolescents.

Moreover, the internet is likely to assist people with shopping. In other words, e-commerce websites have recently been introduced to customers with the aim of providing abundant products to them without going out to purchase. For instance, during the Covid-19 lockdown, a tremendous proportion of people decided to have goods delivered to home by the shippers in order to avoid going to stores or supermarkets.

To sum up, the internet is considered as a scientific breakthrough in the 21^st century and it has completely transformed our life into a more comfortable ones in terms of communication, entertainment and shopping. (268 words)
