The line graph illustrates the amount of rain fell in Somecountry in 2004.

It is clear that the first six months had the lower rainfall than the others. Rainfall reached its peak in October 2004 and had the lowest amount recorded in February.

The first month in 2004 recorded average rainfall of 50 milimeters. Then rainfall decreased to its lowest mark of whole year with value under 40. In the following months, rainfall slowly increased, back to 50 milimeters in May and remained in that mark in June.

Rain fell more in the later part of the year. July witnessed a big increase in rainfall, reached 60 milimeters from 50 in June. Rainfall stayed at 60 in August before suddenly went down to 50 in September, then rose again and finally reached its peak by 65 milimeters in October. In the last two months of the year, the amount of rain fell slowly decrease.

I think you should add an overall sentence which shows the trend of the line-charts. Ex: the rates of rain fell in Somecountry witnessed a fluctuation during 12 months in 2004.

It is clear that the first six months had the lower rainfall than the others (other). Rainfall reached its (a) peak in October 2004 and had the lowest amount recorded in February.

Some words was repeated, such as: decrease (you can use: decline, drop, slump, reduce), reach a peak ( you use it two times, I think it’s not good, so you can say, it rocket to 65 mm, the highest level during the year.

i think in overview part, you should point out 2 main idea that you will describe in the body. Then in body graph 1, describe the detailed the first idea, body graph 2, describe the detailed the second idea.

"The line graph compares the amount of rain in Somecountry during the year 2004.

It is evident that the rainfall in Somecountry experienced the consecutive fluctuations during this year. The figures in the first half of the year is lower than those in the rest of the year with the highest in November and the lowest in February.

From Jan to Dec of the year 2004, the quantity of rain witnessed the stronger fluctuations. Started at approximately 50mm, the amount of rain decreased considerably during Jan, followed by a slight increase in the next 2 months, then touch the lowest point at under 40mm in Feb, finally witnessed a stable trend by about 50 in May. In the latter half of the year, the rainfall climbed dramatically in July from 50mm to nearly 60mm, then fell, before experienced a significant growth in Oct. The figures eventually reached the highest point by 60mm in Oct, then fell steadily in Nov and Dec.

Besides, the figures were higher in the last 6 months of the years. While the amount of rain in the first 6 months was always under 50mm, that the contrast happened in the latter half year with the figures was by far higher than 50mm.

The figures eventually reached the highest point by 60mm in Oct, then fell steadily in Nov and Dec. => Before falling steadily in  Nov and Dec, the figures eventually reached a peak by 600mm in Oct.
