In coincidence with the social modernization, women is given more equal employment opportunities, so there is a steady flow of them leaving their homes for the purpose of pursuing a decent work. Society appreciates their ability but it also suffer at the realization of the important role that women play as mother and housewife. From my viewpoint, it is justifiable for women to spend time homemaking after marriage instead of working out.

The first reason is that it is hard for her to fufil the double role at the same time: rearing children and woring at offices. A women’s influence is greatly needed in the home, on the children. What a child needs most is his/her mother’s care because how the child is modeled depends much on her. If women excessively involve in earning money, their children will not get much attention, especially in the phase of adolescence, they can be adversely affected by some social civils namely taking drug, crime.

The second one, although two-income couple will partly release financial family burdens, women can neglect housework. Both are exhausted after a hard day’s toil, she and her husband want to relax and have a delicious meal. Who will prepare dinner, straighten up the rooms, take rubbish away?. It is a real pity that women who leave home in search of a career seldom give a thought to this. Think the moment, your husband comes back home from offices and see the readily served meal on the table, tidied-up room, he will be really happy.

In conclusion, a women’s most povital reponsibility still lies in her home. Therefore, after matrimony, unless and until she can fulfil the basic role of a housewife and mother, she had better stay at home.
