Some people think that the best way to solve global environmental problems is to increase the cost of fuel. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Today, our world is facing some serious environmental problems despite the fact that it has well developed. In order to solve these problems, I wholly argee with the idea that rising the fuel expense is the best way. Nonetheless, I do believe that there are some factors which need considering to reduce this problems aside from this idea.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that increasing the cost of fuel helps us to protect the environment. Some kinds of fuel such as biogas, petrol, gas or coal are extremely harmful to the surroundings. People mostly use them for cooking and buring, so when they are burnt outside, it causes the hole of ozone which allows toxic UV sun rays to shine into the Earth and the bad atmosphere quality which is also dangerous for people’s health and plants. Therefore, once the cost of fuel is raised, the number of customers will decrease, and people will start finding another renewable source which is friendly to the environment.
Notwithstandind, I thhink that if we too focus on the fuel, other problems are going to go badly because not only the fuel leads to environmental issues. Firstly, water pollution is the most commonn issue in every part of the world, Factories dump industrial poison into the rivers and people throw trash into the seas more often, so aquatic animals die quickly and the water is also containminated. Secondly, deforestation happens everywhere. To illustrate, human burn trees to spare room for houses, farms, hotels, buildings and all kinds of accommodation, so the density of forests are gradually fall which result in climate change. Hence, some problems like the two above must be mentioned alongside the cost of fuel.
Overalll, I claim that making the fuel expense more inexpensive is not the only way to solve the environmental problems. Besides, people should think more about other issues which also harm the environment.
