Topic:

Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

----------------------------------------------------------------

It is usually said that information in scientific research, business and the academic world should be shared as much as possibly. Other people believe that sharing some significant, precious information should be in control. I will discuss both of these views in my essay below.

On the one hand, publicing scientific facts and researchs can help more people to access to authentic sources of science easily. It is a key to increase general knowledge of science. So popular misunderstood scientific concepts cannot be spread more widely. In addition, many cities around the world are coped with obesity, respiratory or infectious diseases, owing to fast food, pollutions, low standard of living. If people have chances to know more scientific facts, they can avoid unhealthy lifestyles and protect themselves from common illnesses, viruses, poisons, etc. Last but not least, it’s vital to create an information network among scientists, researchers, students. They could save time and money spent in searching the latest discoveries or academic meterials that they need.

On the other hand, there should be a limit to the scientific information which can be public. For example, confidential folders, weapon researchs belonging to Ministry of Defence should not be shared freely. Since national security have to be ensured. Additionally, some science projects cost a lot of money, years and labor to conduct. But we are not sure whether those devoted, admirable achievements are used for bad purposes. Furthermore, in the Information Age, if scientific facts are shared too openly without checking authenticity, it facilitates wrong, fake information to intermingle simply.

In conclusion, I think scientific facts should be public in order to give people more trustworthy information about science. However, government have to set limits on kinds of data, figures or statistics which are shared. (293 words)

It is usually said that information in scientific research, business and the academic world should be shared as much as possibly=>possible.

In addition, many cities around the world are coped=>are coping (cope mang nghĩa chủ động luôn bạn ạ) with obesity, respiratory or infectious diseases, owing to fast food, pollutions, low standard of living. If people have chances to know more scientific facts, they can avoid unhealthy lifestyles and protect themselves from common illnesses, viruses, poisons, etc. Last but not least, it’s vital to create an information network among scientists, researchers, students. They could save time and money spent in=>on searching the latest discoveries or academic meterials that they need.

Furthermore, in the Information Age, if scientific facts are shared too openly without checking authenticity, it facilitates=>will facilitate (ở đây nên dùng điền kiện loại I) wrong, fake (mình nghĩ không nên dùng "fake" vì nó có thể hơi informal) information to intermingle simply.

In conclusion, I think scientific facts should be public in order to give people more trustworthy information about science. However, government have to set limits on kinds of data, figures or statistics which are shared.
