The pie charts compare the proportions of protein, carbohydrates and fat in the three types of diet including: average, healthy diets and diet for sport.

It’s noticeable that sportspeople eat a higher protein diet than average and healthy diets. In contrast, people who follow average diet need the lowest level of carbohydrates consumption but the highest intake of protein.

A healthy diet for sport contains 60% carbohydrates, which is 10% and 20% higher than proportion of carbohydrates in average diet and healthy diet, respectively. Conversely, carbohydrates need of people who eat average diet is 5% -10% greater than that of those who eat healthy diet and diet for sport, with proportion of 40%

Fat accounts for exactly 20% of average diet and healthy diet but just 15% of healthy diet for sport.
