Question: The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone call in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.Summarise the information by selecting a reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart compares the amount of talk-time people spent on domestic and oversea calls from landline and mobiles in Uk between 1995-2005

It can be seen from the chart that the majority of calls were made locally via landline.  However, cellphones saw a rapid growth in user minutes.

In 1995, 70 billions minutes were spent on local calls via fixed line, doubled than the amount of time for national and international calls via fixed line. Cellphone was the least popular type with a mere 4billions user minutes.

From 1995 to 1999, the amount of time for local calls increased dramatically and reached the peak of 90 billions minutes. This upward trend was seen for the two other types.

The latter period bought a sustained decline in the number of minutes of local calls made on landline, down to over 70 billions minutes in 2002. In contrast, the national and international calls via landline continued its upward trend , reaching to 60 billion minutes in 2002. Likewise, the country saw a threefold increase in calling time via cellphones from around 15 billion minutes in 1999 to roughly 45 billion minutes in 2002.

It can be seen from the chart that the majority of calls were made locally via landline.  However, cellphones saw a rapid growth in user minutes.

In 1995, 70 billions minutes were spent on local calls via (through) fixed line, doubled than the amount of time for national and international calls via fixed line. Cellphone was the least popular type with a mere 4billions user minutes.

From 1995 to 1999, the amount of time for local calls increased dramatically and reached the peak of 90 billions minutes. This upward trend was seen for the two other types.

The latter period bought (mình không hiểu từ này trong hoàn cảnh này nghĩ là gì)  a sustained decline in the number of minutes of local calls made on landline, down to over 70 billions minutes in 2002. In contrast, the national and international calls via landline continued its upward trend , reaching to 60 billion minutes in 2002.
