It has been claimed that workers over 50 are not responsive to rapidly changing ideas in the modern workplace and that for this reason younger workers are to be preferred. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Whether the younger works more efficient than the older remains a subject of controversy. Some people claim that the latter who finds it difficult to update the modern technology while others argue that the former lacks experiences. I strongly disagree with the opinion.

Youngsters, firstly, are cited to be more efficient than their seniors in the work environment. It is true that equipped with updated technology, being active and enthusiatic, they can find it easier to give birth to new ideas to heighten productivity of organizations. However, workers over 50 have enough time to accumulate practical skills, experiences and knowledge, which brings a favourable condition for them to escalate on the ladder of success. Besides, experiencing the vicissitude of economic scenario, the old employees sharpen their abilities and patience to struggle with this in order to steer the development of companies in right direction.

Thirdly, the old employees are the old hands of the jobs, so are able to deal with unexpected situations with calmness and foresight. Equally important, hardly is the loyalty of the young workers to the company seen in this fast- changing world as they can leave the firm whenever they are offered with a more fertile ground. It leads to waste money in recruiting and training. On the contrary, the old who witnesses the ups and downs of the company with their wholehearted devotion proves their profound vision and equal value in the modern workplace.

In a nutshell, although the senior finds it hard to keep up with cutting technology, with their wealthy of experience and loyalty, they still provide advantages for companies. So I am strongly against the opinion.

Whether the younger work more efficiently than the older remains a subject of controversy. Some people claim that the former who finds it difficult to update the modern technology while others argue that the latter lacks experiences. I strongly disagree with the opinion (which opinion?).

Youngsters, firstly, are said to be more flexible than their seniors in the work environment. It is true that being equipped with updated technology, active and enthusiastic, they can find it easier to give birth to new ideas to heighten the productivity of organizations. However, workers over 50 have enough time to accumulate practical skills, experiences and knowledge, which bring about a favourable condition for them to escalate on the ladder of success. Besides, having been able to experience the vicissitude of economic scenario, the old employees can sharpen their abilities and patience to struggle with this in order to steer the development of companies in the right direction.

what’s more, the old employees are the old hands of the jobs, so they are able to deal with unexpected situations with calmness and foresight. Equally important, hardly is the loyalty of the young workers to the company seen in this fast- changing world as they can leave the firm whenever they are offered with a more fertile ground, which leads to the serious waste of money on recruiting and training. On the contrary, the old who witness the ups and downs of a company with their wholehearted devotion prove their profound vision and equal value in the modern workplace.

In a nutshell, although the senior find it hard to catch up with cutting technology, with their wealthy of experiences and loyalty, they still provide advantages for companies. So I am strongly against the opinion that more than 50-year-old workers can’t respond to the unpredictable changing state in the workplace.
