Nowadays, modern technology helps people so much in improving their relationships, creating more chances for people to interact with their acquaintances, but everything always has two faces, inspite of some advantages, technology also bring negative affections.
As we can see, technology can damage the relationshipsbetween people and people. Firstly, they always come over to meet their friends for catching up, but now they tend to stay at home and chatting via social network instead. This affects directly on their communication skill when they meet new people in real life, they can be shy and inconfident. Secondly, although when the team was sitting together, people cannot put down their smart phones and just focus on the conversation. It diminishes the interaction in the meeting, also their friends might feel that they are not respected and this is always the common reason leads to the breaking of the friendship.
However, the advent of technology helps people who live overseas keep in touch better with their families, especially with their lover and moreover, social networks allow them via video call can see each other's face. Unlike previous ages ago, people wrote letters, it took serveral times and sometimes there was no guarantee that the letter had been seen by other people before reaching to the receiver because of undeveloped transportation like doves. On the other hand, in some fields such as customer services, banks and insurance companies often call their clients monthly to ask about health or present thanks for using their services, this created prolonged and intinate relationships.
Overall, technology helps in maintaining good relationships with family members who live overseas and in business, but makes a minus point if people abuse too much on it. So it depends on the way how we use technology to make positive or negative affection.
