The graph indicates the percentage of peoples aged 65 and older (over) in USA, Sweden and Japan.
It can be seen from graph that since 1940 there has been wild fluctuations in the proportion of the population and that this trend is expected to continue at least until 2040. The figure for the elderly in Japan was lowest almost all the time surveyed.
In 1940, about 9% of Americans aged 65 and older, while the figure for the Sweden having been lower, has been about 7%. The percentage of people in Japan has stood at 5% at that time. The next sixty year, the percentage of people in USA and Sweden have been rather errathic (erratic), reaching the peak of 15% and 14% respectively but then have been fallen slightly. Regarding Japan, after a gradual decline in the percentage of people aged 65 and over, there has been a period of stability, at nearly 4% between 1960 and 1990. From 2020 to 2040, the USA is predicted that the percentage of population will stabilize and then will increase to about 23%. While the Sweden is expected that the percentage of their population aged 65 and over will grow up gradually to around 25% and the Japan is suggested that the figure will increase steadily and a rocket in the percentage of peoples to approximately 27% is expected in 2040.
Mình có nhận xét chung như này:
1. people không có chữ s đằng sau
2. Số liệu không chắc chắn thì nên thêm about/around/approximately ở đầu số. Nếu không sẽ bị coi là mô tả thông tin không chính xác, lỗi này trừ điểm rất nặng.
3. Ở câu overview nên nêu thêm 1 đặc điểm nổi bật để nâng điểm
4. Bạn nên sử dụng thêm 1 số từ để thay thế cụm từ people age 65 and over. Cụ thể là elderly, elderly people, senior citizen.... Đây là bài về người già, nếu viết chỉ viết là people thì sẽ không ăn được điểm ở tiêu chí từ vựng phong phú
5. Bài của bạn thiếu đi sự so sánh giữa các số liệu, chỉ so sánh 1 lần duy nhất ở phần đầu body. Bạn nên nhớ yêu cầu của task 1 luôn luôn là "summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant". Nghĩa là bài của bạn luôn phải có sự so sánh số liệu của 3 nước chứ không phải liệt kê ra là xong.
Mình chấm theo 4 tiêu chí của IELTS l,à như này nhé:
1. Tiêu chí hoàn thành nhiệm vụ: Không đạt, không có sự so sánh giữa các số liệu. Thông tin đưa ra không chính xác (thiếu đi around hoặc about). Điểm phần này tầm 5.0 - 5.5
2. Kết nối: Nhóm thông tin khá mạch lạc và rõ ràng. Điểm 6.5
3. Từ vựng: Không sử dụng được nhiều từ vựng, cụm từ "people aged 65 and over" không viết lại được theo cách khác. Điểm 5.5
4. Ngữ pháp: Sử dụng được các thì chính xác, cấu trúc bị động, cấu trúc so sánh. Điểm 6.5
