Question

   This flow chart shows the influents of clear cutting trees in the forest. There are four main consequences which affect abominably to the environments. One of them causes flooding and three others cause less biodiversity.

    First of all, the soil is compressed by heavy logging equipment, them soil becomes hard and “baked”. It makes rain water running off; therefore, flooding happens in place.

   Deforestation also causes three others effects which harm biodiversity. First, the top soil erodes due to less roots holding it. Second, risk of burning increases. When burning happens, waste wood from logging is destroyed and micro-organisms feeding on waste lost. Third, plans return less moisture to the air; also, there is less precipitation. Consequently, drought increases. All the results of three stuffs above are the reason why pioneer species move in and vegetation is degraded; eventually these make biodiversity imbalanced.

   In summary. Deforestation causes many consequences to the soil, the air and increasing hazard of burning which make natural disasters like flooding, drought; finally, they harm the biodiversity.
