It is true that many people have turned their lives around after leaving prison. I completely agree that ex-offenders speaking to younger people about their real-life experiences is the most effective way to keep them from committing crimes.

In my opinion, teenagers are more likely to accept advice from someone who has been more experienced in the past. As a result, ex-offenders can insert adverse suggestions about committing crimes. Ex-prisoners share with young people these stories about how harsh conditions are and how these people are treated during their time in prison, like their friends. While teenagers frequently turn a deaf ear to the guidance given by older people, I imagine that most adolescents would be extremely keen on hearing the stories of an ex-offender. I believe that short stories can help deter teenagers from illegal acts. It has a significant impact.

Alternative methods of educating adolescents about the consequences of criminal behaviour exist, on the contrary, I believe they are less effective. Police officers visit schools to spread the word about crime prevention. This serves a variety of purposes for students who understand crime and want to stay away from illegal activities. on the contrary young people are frequently reluctant to take advice from figures of authority. Another way would be for teachers to teach their students how a person will be punished after committing a crime. However, young people are less likely to be persuaded by stories by a person who does not have real experience or a person of authority, such as a teacher or a policeman.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly agree that ex-offenders can become normal, productive members of society after serving a prison sentence and that this could help deter young people from committing crimes.
