As a language, English is getting more and more important in recent years, so it begs the question of how to learn English effectively. From my point of view, studying in an English-speaking country is a very beneficial  option, although not the only way.
Firstly,  Learning English in countries such as America, England,….  is a lot more well-rounded because you can easily practice all of the major skills. For example, you can practice listening and speaking  by just talk to the people around you. You can also practice listening by watching news, TV show,… Secondly, It’s much easier to learn English if everybody around you talk to you in English. They would correct you if you say something grammatically wrong, you can adjust to their accent, too. You will have a constant development.
However, it’s not the only way. There are thousands of approaches to English. For instance, you can acquire a wider vocabulary range by reading books. By listening to online English shows, you can improve your listening skill. There are a lot of programs which can be used to improve your speaking ability.  Besides,  not everybody have a chance to study abroad.
In conclusion, although studying English in an English-speaking country is the best approach, other methods also need to be taken into consideration
