The outbreak of many diseases all around the world has put enormous pressure on the systems of healthcare. Although “Prevention is better than cure” and therefore government should have policies on promoting healthy lifestyle, it is also essential that timely treatments need to be provided when diseases have occurred.

National and local campaigns to raise people’s awareness about healthy lifestyle positively impact citizens’ ways of life. For example, education programs about healthy eating can help reduce the number of obesity cases. In addition, government should have an obligation to protect population’s health by providing information about the risks and effects due to unhealthy lifestyle. By doing this, fatal diseases caused by bad habits such as lung cancer and heart attack can be prevented. It can also create a profound shift in social perception that may help improve immune systems of society as well as lengthen average lifespan.

However, prevention is not enough since it must go together with medical care. It can be said that prevention and treatment have an interacting relationship. The more preparation to prevent illness, the less probability that human will catch these diseases. If immediate and effective medical treatments for ill people are not given, viruses will become pandemic with a high spreading speed and therefore prevention will turn out to be useless. One of the most vivid illustrations of this is Ebola case. This disease has raised a deep concern in many countries and caused a high mortality rate. Without timely treatment, infectious diseases like Ebola or malaria might destroy human life.

In summary, government should play an active role in both promoting healthy lifestyle and providing timely medical care as they are all equally important and complementary to each other. (286 words)

In my view, it is much better if you point out which is more important between spending on preventing or treatment.

Anw, your writing is smoothly, natuaral and well organised.

Need to carefully consider to exactly use some phrases (healthy eating,  Prevention is better than cure, immune systems of society?!...)
