There is no denying that museums are a vital place that preserves the artifacts of history in that country. However, in some museums, there is a policy that the visitors have to pay money before entering while others are free to visit. I wholeheartedly believe that there should be no charge for the museum entry

To begin with, every citizen has the right to receive access to a place that is culturally and historically important for them. Thus, in this sense, ticket money violates their right to knowledge and information since they discourage many people in low-income visit them and this could even more prevent them from returning. Furthermore, most of the people are more likely to spend their space time in places without spending money and this means, those who enjoy discovering and learning can be encouraged come to museums.

Moreover, I believe that museums are a place to convey the national history to the young generation and to act as a national pride, not to earn money. It is true that, the ticket money is necessary for its maintenance and development, while they fail to realize that this cost could easily be paid by the taxpayers’ money. To illustrate, in VietNam has a Revolution museum with free entrance tickets that attract the number of tourists to visit each year. From this example, it can be seen that free entry to the museum would attract more international visitors and spread the cultural uniqueness to the world, and also bring more tourists to a country.

In conclusion , I supposed that museums should remain free for the benefit of the community that everyone can enter the museum without worrying about money and also help to attract tourists to explore our own culture.
