Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the responsibility of the goverment to look after their citizens themselves?

It is highly controversial wether developed countries should be asked to provide poorer ones with helps such as sending food or educational sevice. As far as I am concerned, it is the responsibility of those underdeveloped countries to fend for their citizens on their own. In the following lines lie my explanation for this.
Firstly, the leaders of poorer nations should take into consideration the fact that every country's economy has its own limit. One may be made of money but this does not mean his pocket is infinite. Consequently, it goes without saying that wealthy nations can not meet the demand of less rich ones whenever they want. The provision of food and education should only be seen as temporary and provisional. To assure that their citizens have pleasant living conditions, a country is required to have an economic policy to ensure their long-term development.
Secondly, relying on the helps of richer nations will definitely lead to overdependence. It will be over the worst if a country become dependent on others. When receiving supports, poorer countries may have to accept some policy of request of more affluent nations. They will gradually lose their dependence and identities.
In brief, supporting the weakers is sometimes meaningful but it is not always the case. Every country, however poor, has to be independent and make great effort to care for its people itself.
