In several countries, the juvenile individuals were given a chance to take a long journey or go working for a year after completing their school curriculum or continuing to the higher education. However, this can lead to some matters for the young people in the future. Therefore, my essay will argue about both the benefits and drawbacks of its issue.

Firstly, we should begin with some advantages. The young pupil might have enough time to take into consideration about their interest before choosing their favourite major. This can illustrate by the amount of time they invest in searching online and exchanging their related queries from education experts. By doing that, the youth will drive up their new paths which have some impact on their lives one day. Another example is that the person who has a good sense of logical thinking will be likely to work with numbers or complex calculations. Likewise, a gap year not only may motivate students to hunt some part-time or full-time job but also provide them with experience through earning money and learn the way to save-up.

On the other hand, there have been more disadvantages depicted from the above issue. Typically, some students who have a gap year may left behind with their friends’ studies plan. This means that they have to make as much their effort as possible to graduate from university than those who finish the academic curriculum on schedule. Apart from this, fewer young citizens even confront with a great deal of difficulties and challenges when adapting to new environment such as college’s life changes, pressure of studies, cultures and so forth.

In summary, young students who whether take a gap year or not have both positive and negative aspects in their own way. Beside that, I completely agree with the idea of getting off one year from school to accumulate some realistic skills than studying continuously.
