Some people think computers and the Internet are important in children's study, but others think students can learn more effectively in schools and with teachers.

With the development of techonology, Internet-connected computers have been utilized in many schools. However, whether studying with such hi-tech devices or studying in traditional ways will actually be effective is still a controversial issue. Personally, it is better if children receive both methods.

It is obvious that computers and the Internet offer children some benefits to their study process. Those are great sources of information for learners to gain their knowledge of different aspects. As an illustration, children find some facts about any famous people such as the inventor of light bulbs just by some clicks. In other cases, they can easily learn how to play an instrument by asking Mr.Google. In addition, children are better illustrated while using computer to study. This is because there is an endless source of pictures and videos on the Internet which provides them an easier of approaching abstract subjects, through images.

On the other hand, many people argue that students can only absorb the lessons more thoroughly and effectively when in schools and with teachers. There are some explanation for this. First, computers cannot offer a flexible study strategy, which alters to fit individual's needs like teachers can. They know how to adjust their lessons, whether to lengthen or shorten it, which part needs more emphasis, ect...Moreover, computers are programmed machines, therefore, they do not have that capacity. Second, what makes teachers different from machines is the emotion. Emotion is essential in getting students fully understood the lessons. They would probably remember the voice tone, facial expressions and the emotion of their teachers rather than the recorded voice and flat screens.

All things considered, I believe that either computers or teachers alone would increase the effiecency of the lessons. Instead, I suggest that teachers should make use of computers in their teaching. In other words, teachers should combine traditional methods and technology in their classes. This has been proved effective in many modern lessons where projectors and computers are used to support the teachers. As a result, students understand the lectures faster, more thoroughly and learn them with great joy.
