Nowadays , the media focus  on finding information about the famous people’s lives or private relationships . But ordinary people , on the other hand , are rarely appear in the newspapers or television  . They should be reported more by the media . In my opinion, I do not agree with this statement .

Firstly, people are interested in getting news about celebrities because their lives are exciting and they always attract the audiences. The media earn a lot profit when their achievement has many viewers. Furthermore, I do not think the public wants to read about unknown people because there is nothing to encourage them to read more. Readers may wonder why the story has been told and they will ignore it swiftly.

Secondly, celebrities may be the role-models of many people. When people read or see news about famous people such as their big houses, their cars, etc… and they want the things like that. So it makes people reach their dream and put more effort into their work. For example, almost all of people know David Beckham _ a famous footballer and desire to be like him . He has a luxury life with happy home, expensive cars, big villas, etc… He is an idol of everyone all over the world.

In conclusion, the media earn much money by attracting readers and viewers. So it is better to concentrate on celebrities instead of ordinary people.
