The urban growth rates declined significantly to just over 2% per year in Latin America, whereas the figures for Africa and Asia remained relatively stable between 1995 and 2000. By 2025, the urban growth rates is anticipated to descend by 1% per annum in all three continents.

It is apparent from the information provided that North American is expected to maintain its growth rate of about 1% over a 55 year period. Meanwhile, the annual urban growth rate in Europe was about 1,5% between 1970 and 1975, plunging to around 0,5% in the next 25 years, and is predicted to dropped to negliable 0,2% in 2025.
